CCTV Chimney Inspections
CCTV Chimney Inspections in Montgomery
Camera kit sent up the flue to show precisely where a fault is, with photos so you can see it yourself.
When a smoke test flags a problem, the camera kit goes up from the chimney pot to find exactly where it is. It's a lot more precise than guesswork, and it means any repair work is aimed at the actual fault.
I take photos as I go so you can see what I'm seeing, rather than just being told there's an issue. It's your chimney and your money, so you should know what's actually wrong before deciding what to do about it.
What's included
- Camera passed up the flue from the pot
- Used to follow up a failed smoke test
- Pinpoints cracks, blockages or gaps
- Photos taken so you can see the issue
- Explained in plain terms, not jargon

Outstanding service. Arrived on the dot. Very systematic in sweeping chimney. Made a complete seal with sheet plastic so no dust got into the room. Has great kit..rods attached to a drill so it’s a thorough sweep. Pulled the inside of log burner apart and cleaned component pieces. Reassembled in the correct way..mine was incorrect. Smoke tested at the end which identified a problem. Came back in to put camera kit up to chimney pot to identify the problem, showed me photos and resolved it. Very knowledgable and interesting man. Even polished log burner with some magic fluid that makes it look like new. It’s unrecognisable now..a major transformation and I can really tell it’s working efficiently now it’s been lit. Totally worth every penny. Left the place cleaner than when he arrived! Don’t trust anyone else with such an important job.
Kevin sweeps chimneys for several people in our village and also at my home. When I purchased a new property there was a problem identifying whether the wood burner was safe and chimney swept, despite him being out of the area, he was on hand to give advice and suggested who to go to. Long overdue review but I can thoroughly recommend Kevin, and will keep using his services, he's very professional and I trust his advice!!
Kevin did a fantastic job cleaning my log burner. I came in to find my fire looking cleaner than I left it and not a trace that he had been to clean. 100% recommend Kevin. Does an excellent job. Very trustworthy. Thank you Kevin.
