Stove & Insert Sweeping
Stove & Insert Sweeping in West Memphis
Wood stoves and inserts pull apart differently to an open fireplace, and I clean the baffles and pipe the way that stove is built.
An insert or freestanding stove has its own flue pipe running up inside the masonry chimney, plus a baffle and sometimes a catalytic combustor that all need attention on their own terms, not just a brush down the main flue. I take apart what needs taking apart to actually get at the creosote rather than cleaning around it.
Gaskets and glass seals wear out too, and a stove that isn't sealing properly burns less efficiently and pushes smoke back into the room. I check those while I've got it open, so you're not finding out about a bad seal partway through winter.

- Baffle and flue pipe cleaned
- Catalytic combustor checked, if fitted

Hey Jacob thanks for the awesome review. That made my day. Thank you for allowing us to be of service and we hope to see you in the future. Yall have a Merry Christmas!!!
Outstanding in every way! Drew worked with us to select the right wood stove, fresh air intake, blower, chimney liner and cap for us. On installation day, he and his crew went above and beyond to carefully removed bricks from the back of the firebox and to core drill through the remaining wyths and limestone facade for a fresh air intake. They fully sleeved the chimney, custom fit a chimney cap, ran power for a blower to an outlet in the crawlspace, and insulated the lower chimney, all while working in almost impossibly tight conditions and taking great care for our 100+ year old house. This kind of attention to detail is rare these days! It really just doesn't get better than DeltA Chimney Sweep!
