What happens during a chimney service appointment?
I'll come out, sweep and inspect the chimney, stove or insert, and explain exactly what I find. If there's a repair needed, like relining or a new cap, I'll walk you through it and give you a clear price before any work starts.
Do you give fixed quotes?
Yes. Once I've had a proper look at the chimney, I'll give you a fixed written quote for any repair or extra work, so there are no surprises.
Are you certified?
Yes, I'm CSIA certified and keep up with continuing education to stay current on chimney safety standards. I've been serving the Mid-South since 1983.
How long does a chimney sweep or repair take?
A standard sweep and inspection is usually done in one visit. Larger jobs like relining or waterproofing take longer, and I'll give you a timeframe once I've assessed the work needed.
How do I know what's actually wrong with my chimney?
That's what the inspection is for. I don't just sweep and go - I check the flue, crown, cap and masonry so you know the real condition of your chimney, not just guesswork.
