Chimney Sweeping
Chimney Sweeping in Cleveland Heights
A dust-controlled sweep that clears creosote and debris from the flue so your fireplace burns safely.
Every sweep starts with dust containment set up before I touch the flue, so soot and creosote stay out of your home. I brush the full length of the flue, vacuum out what's loosened, and clean the firebox and hearth so it's left tidier than I found it.
While I'm sweeping I'm also looking - at the flue lining, the damper, and anything building up faster than it should. If something needs attention I'll show you and explain it before I leave, rather than just handing you an invoice.
What's included
- Full flue brush and vacuum
- Creosote and soot removal
- Dust sheets and containment
- Firebox and hearth cleaned
- Damper checked and worked
- Visual check while sweeping

Blake and his team are total professionals and extremely skilled and thorough with their work. They were always on time and got right to work. So glad I trusted my gut and went with them!
Blake with Sauers Chimney is truly a professional. Great communication, easy to work around my schedule to get appointment confirmed, arrived exactly on time, and was very neat and efficient while cleaning and checking the fireplaces in new-to-me condo. Now I have full confidence I can safely use them.
Blake did an excellent job on our chimney. He is very knowledgeable about the process and provided us with recommendations on maintenance. This is the 2nd time we've used him. Highly recommend!
