Chimney Repairs
Chimney Repairs in Cleveland Heights
Fixing the faults that turn up during a sweep or inspection, so the chimney is safe to use again.
Repairs come out of what a sweep or inspection actually finds - a damaged liner, a damper that won't seat properly, mortar that's failing, or damage from water or heat. I work from what's actually wrong rather than a generic fix.
I'll explain what needs doing and why before starting, and once the repair is done I check it over again so you're not left wondering if it actually solved the problem.
What's included
- Flue lining and liner repairs
- Damper repair or replacement
- Firebox and hearth repairs
- Mortar and masonry pointing
- Fixes for water or heat damage
- Follow-up check once repaired

Blake and his team are total professionals and extremely skilled and thorough with their work. They were always on time and got right to work. So glad I trusted my gut and went with them!
Blake with Sauers Chimney is truly a professional. Great communication, easy to work around my schedule to get appointment confirmed, arrived exactly on time, and was very neat and efficient while cleaning and checking the fireplaces in new-to-me condo. Now I have full confidence I can safely use them.
Blake did an excellent job on our chimney. He is very knowledgeable about the process and provided us with recommendations on maintenance. This is the 2nd time we've used him. Highly recommend!
