Lap Swimming
Lap Swimming in Wilson
A spacious community pool that works just as well for steady lap swimming as it does for family fun.
Reid Street Pool isn't a dedicated lap facility, but the pool is large enough that swimmers doing laps for exercise share the water comfortably alongside families and kids. It's a public community pool first, so lap swimmers work around open swim hours rather than the other way round.
A lifeguard is on duty for every session, lap swimmers included. If you're coming specifically to swim lengths, it helps to know the pool serves the whole community at the same time, so expect other swimmers in the water with you.
What's included
- Open pool space for swimming laps
- Lifeguards on duty during every session
- Room to swim continuous lengths
- Suited to swimmers of any pace
- Clean, maintained pool water
