Targeted treatment for spills, tracked-in dirt and set-in spots that regular cleaning didn't lift.
Not every stain comes out with a standard carpet clean, food and drink spills, tracked-in mud, and anything that's had time to set need a more targeted approach. I identify what I'm dealing with first, since the right treatment depends on the stain, then apply a bio-degradable spot treatment to the area.
Some stains need more than one pass, especially older ones, so I'll go back over it as needed and check it again once it's dried before calling the job done.
