Patios sit low and shaded for a lot of the year, which is exactly the environment algae and mildew like. Cleaning brings the surface back to its original colour and clears the grout lines and joints where growth tends to hide, not just the flat, visible areas.
I move furniture and planters out of the way to get the whole surface, then reset them afterwards. If the patio connects to a walkway or steps, those get done in the same visit so there isn't a clean patch next to a dirty one.

A1 Pressure Washing crew did an amazing job on cleaning a concrete driveway pad that was pretty dirty after having pallets of sod, clonks of dirt, and track marks from the skid steer on it. However, it looked like it had recently been poured When A1 Pressure Washing crew finished. They brought that pad Back to Life!! A1 Pressur Washing is my pick....All Day Long!!
