Question 1

How does the process work if I call you out?

Accepted Answer

I start with a free survey to inspect your chimney or fireplace and work out exactly what's going on. Once I know the cause, I'll explain it clearly and give you a fixed quote before any work begins.

Question 2

How much does chimney work cost, and do you give fixed quotes?

Accepted Answer

Every job is priced after I've had a look, since chimneys and fireplaces vary a lot. You'll always get a clear, fixed quote in writing before I start, with no hidden extras.

Question 3

Are you insured and is the work guaranteed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, I'm fully insured and I stand behind every job I do. If something isn't right after the work is finished, I'll come back and sort it.

Question 4

How long does a typical job take?

Accepted Answer

A standard sweep usually takes under an hour. Liner installations, cap fitting or fireplace repairs take longer depending on the scope, and I'll give you a time estimate with your quote.

Question 5

How do I know what's actually wrong with my chimney?

Accepted Answer

I inspect the flue, liner and masonry properly rather than guessing. That means you get an honest diagnosis of the real cause, not just a quick fix for the symptom.

Question 6

What areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

I work throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding area, including Camden, Cherry Hill, Upper Darby, Drexel Hill, Bensalem, Norristown, Chester and Levittown.
