Natural stone behaves differently to ceramic tile, it's porous, it can stain if it's not sealed properly, and it's easy to chip if it's cut or handled carelessly. I treat it accordingly, sealing at the right stages and using adhesives and grout suited to stone rather than standard tile products.
Every piece of natural stone varies slightly, so I lay it out and check the pattern and shading before fixing, rather than tiling straight from the box. It takes longer, but it's the difference between a floor or wall that looks considered and one that looks like an afterthought.

Having contacted Anthony he was able to visit within a few days and look at my kitchen with us wanting virtually the whole room tiled. Anthony was able to give advice with regards to our options which was very helpful and subsequently came back to us with a very reasonable price, a time frame for the job with a start date all of which he stuck to.
